T Junction as the Selby Canal gives way to the River Ouse - the word Ouse is derived from a Celtic word and simply means water. So the River Water it is.
From the junction here it's straight into Selby and from this point on you really notice the evenness of the land and how the River Ouse is capable of destroying the land and cause severe flooding to farmland, villages and towns such as Selby.
