Back to the railway lines on the Upper Don Trail and here we go for as exhilarating a ride on an old railway line that a long distance cyclist can reasonably expect. From Dunford Bridge it's 8 miles down the track to Penistone on one of the longest, steepest railway gradients in the world. A record it held when built many years ago.
