Widdop Reservoir.
Three generations of farmers and their sheepdogs are about to round up the sheep in what can only be described as a robust manner. And as the last of the sheep are rounded up there's a sudden cameo from an Asian family, adding a surreal touch to this hillside distraction. But in many ways this is the perfect contrast, with the mill towns of the 18th and 19th centuries' Industrial Revolution now being left behind, this is new England, as first generation English Asian families explore the Pennines and are as important a part of our culture now as the textile revolution was 200 years ago.
