Cycling in the Wiltshire Downs

'Visit The Avebury World Heritage Site and the many significant monuments in the Downs, including Barbury Castle, Giants's Grave, Martinsell Hill, and the chalk white horses.

This leaflet suggests a number of circular cycle routes of varying length to enable you to plan  a leisurely day out, cycling weekend, or holiday break'.

  • Devizes via Caen Hill Lock Flight   19 miles

  • West Woods   7 miles

  • Pewsey via Oare   6 miles

  • Avebury via West Woods   15 miles
