Sheffield
City Centre to the Peak District National Park - Sheffield to
Hathersage 11
miles Foldout
leaflet with map, elevation profile, and information on places of
interest along the signposted route. Extract:
'The
route is very varied. In the City Centre it runs on quiet roads and
cycle tracks past Sheffield Hallam University and the Town Hall and
across Devonshire Green. The route turns onto residential roads around
Endcliffe Park, to join the cycle track through Bingham Park and
Whiteley Woods. From Hangingwater Road through to the head of the Porter
Valley, the route is mainly off-road on bridleways and byways.' 'This
commemorative route between Sheffield and the Peak District National
Park has its own distinctive logo - just follow the millstone logo on
the signs from Sheffield Midland Station and from Hathersage.'
