Additional information includes attractions along the Path (Saltford Brass Mill and Willsbridge Mill Visitors Centre), access to the Path and facilities along the route. 'The Railway Path is an off-road route between the cities of Bristol and Bath. The Path is open to walkers and cyclists, and provides access for disabled users. The Path was constructed on the track bed of the former Midland Railway which closed for passenger traffic at the end of the 1960's. Between 1979 and 1986 the railway line was converted into the Railway Path. The Path
today is a three metre wide tarmaced surface from end to end and some of
the former stations along the path are popular stopping points. There's
a sculpture trail too and the Path is a safe thoroughfare between
Bristol and Bath.' Contact: E-mail: Bristol Tourist
