'The Bedford to Sandy Country Way is Bedfordshire's first cross-country route being developed with cyclists in mind. Running through open farmland, woods and pretty villages along the former Bedford to Sandy railway, it provides a safe and carefree route for cyclists of every age and ability.'

The Bedford to Willington section is the first part of the Country Way to be opened. It runs through gently rolling countryside along the Ouse Valley to the historic village of Willington. The remaining phases of the Country Way to Sandy are still under development.
