Easy - Moderate

The one major challenge is the North Yorks Moors National Park, with its breathtaking landscape and enormous views as you climb. There are alternatives though - the equally attractive Hambleton Hills with Thirsk and Northallerton en-route. Finally there is a climb to moorland before descent to Cleveland and the River Tees.
