"Heathbank House is a family run Guest House in Scotland's largest National Park. We are a great stop for the touring cyclist, or provide an excellent base for the leisure cyclist on holiday,. We have six rooms, all ensuite, with two having four poster beds, hand made by a local craftsman. The dinning room is Charles Rennie Mackintosh inspired, where you will sit in chairs 5 feet high in the back, looking out on views of the Cairngorm Mountains. We are licensed to serve alcohol and provide evening meals and packed lunches by arrangement. We have been awarded 3 Stars by Scotland's tourist body, but 4 Stars by our guests. Heathbank House has achieve a Silver Award by the Green Tourism Business Scheme for the care we take as a business, on the environment.

"We are members of VisitScotland's Cyclists Welcome Scheme and have secure storage for your equipment, provide drying facilities, packed lunches and have a knowledge of rides in the area. This knowledge is growing, as we do mountain bike rides ourselves, and try to do where possible, what we are suggesting to our guests. Our selection of guides do contain suggestions on longer rides to try. We have not claimed our free funicular ride yet, by riding up to the Cairngorm Mountain railway, but maybe one day!

"There is a broad range of attractions in the area, from wildlife to breweries, heritage parks to windsurfing: all this can be reached by various means, out with a bike if you choose. The national rail network stops at Aviemore, where a steam train connects with the Boat of Garten in the Summer. The ride to Boat of Garten can be made along the busy main road through Aviemore, or by a more relaxed trip over the moors on an estate road, part of the Sustrans Network 7 and Speyside Way. Heathbank is on the Sustrans route and the Speyside Way so you pass our door if using these. If coming by car, plane or other means, and you don't want to bring your bike, bikes can be hired in the village and delivered to Heathbank House. So come and stay whilst you play in Strathspey".
