"We are just two miles
away from the NCN Route 1. On the Sustrans map (panel 3) look for the
track that ends in the middle of nowhere just west of Beccles and just north
of Barsham. We are at the end of this track. There is access
along the marsh track from Beccles (not shown on the Sustrans map), thus
avoiding most of the B1062. Grid Reference 396904.
"The Old Hall is a large 16th century
building set on a 3 acre organic small holding on the edge of woodland in
the Waveney Valley. We grow much of our own food and welcome informal
visitors to share our lifestyle and the idyllic surroundings. There is
no TV and no private tea making facilities - if you are our guests you share
our home! We are a non-smoking, vegetarian, child friendly household.
There is a railway station and bike shop in Beccles."
